They had often given their cars a name as a way of personalising them. Previously, one of Chris's cars had been given a fun birth certificate by his work colleagues, when he had to fill in some car details and the form had a name box for the car, in which he replied 'not named yet'. Post was delivered, and Geraldine was born, with a birth certificate complete with 'her' picture.

Recently, they wanted to make this a bit more official, and have a proper 'birth' certificate to name the car. Not having anywhere to do this, they set about putting together this site so that they, and others could do so.

This site allows more than just the car name to be registered. Reminders for insurance, MOT, servicing can be set up, as well as recording dates of more event times of your car.
